Studio up in the mountains

The time has arrived, after a while planning. Fran Rubino has got into studio recordings for the emerging artist Sol Marinela. This time creating her third album.
The band moved altogether to a hidden place in the mountains of Girona searching for get inspiration in the surrounding nature and away from the city of Barcelona, where they used to be based.

BUENOS AIRES
Those lucky enough to have visited Buenos Aires, especially the picturesque neighborhood of Palermo, might have also wandered up Honduras Street, where everything seems to be connected to the music scene, art, creativity, and nightlife.
This group of local porteños, all united by their love of music, also runs Exiles Records.

Sol Galarreta´s solo album Travesías (Crossings) presents original compositions reflecting her personal and artistic journey.
Produced by Emilio Haro, “Don Don Don” combines Galarreta’s vocals and guitar with Franco Rubino on electric guitar, Geovany da Silveira on bass, and Ralf Goeldner on drums. The lyrics describe tension between doubt and desire: “I carry contradiction inside / If I say no, I’m lying / A part of me wants to escape / Just wants to laugh.” The refrain warns against neglecting inner potential: “Wasting that gift within / A feeling left behind / A prison with keys from the past / Still locked without reason."
